Our vehicle locate service sends your request to a select group of local dealers who have been screened by the Exit Local staff for their ability and willingness to track down hard to find or scarce new & used vehicle configurations.  Dealers involved in this program sign a pledge to work tirelessly to locate your ideal vehicle and then commit to dealer trading or purchasing the vehicle for resale to you. 

Particular shoppers (who have time to wait for an exact match by year, make, model, mileage, equipment package and color) find this service invaluable because our participating dealers have access to dealer trade relationships, exclusive dealer wholesale auctions and (for used car purchases) the negotiating skills to "buy it right."   A 5% refundable deposit is required for used car buyers wishing to shop this way.

Under this program the participating dealer's retail mark-up is tightly controlled at never more than 10% over the dealer's costs to acquire, prepare & deliver the vehicle to you.  Those costs include:

• Dealer's Wholesale Purchase Price
• Required Safety Inspection
• Preventative Maintenance
• Transportation Costs
